What worries buyers

Five concerns, and what we do about them

Sourcing from India is rewarding, but the same worries come up again and again.

01
EU rules and standards

Chemical limits, product documents and supply-chain due-diligence rules must stand up in Europe. We establish what your product needs before an order is placed and track it through production.

02
Export paperwork errors

A wrong customs code, a mislabelled carton or an unstamped test report can hold up perfect goods. We check documents, labelling and packing against your purchase order before shipment.

03
Traceability and sustainability

Buyers must show where materials come from and how goods are made. We help gather traceability records and arrange audits through globally recognised testing and certification agencies.

04
Delays and unexpected costs

We follow order milestones and shipment readiness and flag deviations early, so problems surface before the ship does.

05
The wrong supplier for the product

We match the manufacturer to the product, and recommend only one we have qualified.

Supplier qualification

Before we recommend a factory

We do not introduce a manufacturer on the strength of a catalogue or a single factory visit. We qualify it first, so your valuable European contacts are never exposed to a supplier we have not checked.

The result is a documented qualification record, not an impression.

05Compliance recordsAudits, certifications and traceability, plus willingness to sign an agency, confidentiality or non-circumvention agreement.
When your volumes grow

A dedicated production unit

For brands whose orders justify it, we can arrange a dedicated production line with an established Indian leather goods manufacturer and exporter. The line works exclusively on your orders. The partner provides the space, labour, machinery and materials, and produces to criteria you set for each order. We structure and set up the arrangement and review it with you from time to time. Where it makes sense, we can also help form a joint company between you and the Indian partner. Talk to us when you are ready to consider it.
